The so-called "Enron scandal" and the others associated with it have sparked a crisis, which strikes at the very core of our society. I'm not referring to the alleged improprieties reported by the liberal media. Any right-thinking American would find nothing wrong with the concept of entrepreneuring capitalism using good old American ingenuity to push the envelope of the market economy.

Rather it is this attack on our corporate leaders which represents a grave danger to our republic. The assumption is that this attack is intended to embarrass the President and weaken the position of the GOP prior to the mid-term elections. Certainly there is some truth to this...after all the men at the center of these "scandals" are the same men who put GW Bush in the White House. These men have a long and storied history of almost incestuously (I say this in the best sense of the term) close relationships with the President and the leaders of our great party. True, they have also been generous contributors to the opposition, but this is again merely good business practice...a hedge against the inherent vacillation of the two party system. It is no co-incidence that due to the influence of these capitalist/patriots the democratic leadership, while maintaining their marxist posturing and their satanic social agenda, have in practice learned to embrace the vast profitability of the corporate agenda.

But make no mistake...these men are the backbone of the modern Republican Party. Indeed, in many regards, they are the Party. It is their goals and their leadership behind the scenes, mixed with a large helping of cash, that has driven the agenda of the Republican Party since we wrested control of the Party from Lincoln and his merry band of abolitionists. And what is their reward. Instead of indicting these men we should be honoring their enormous contributions to our national culture. I must say it is sad to see my good friend the President and the rest of the party leadership abandon these men (at least publicly) in their hour of trial.

But there is more to this than meets the eye...something far more sinister. Treason is afoot. And when treason is afoot, there can be no doubt that Clinton and his liberal conspiracy are behind it.

WAKE UP AMERICA! This attack threatens to topple the very foundations of not only our economy, but of our entire capitalist way of life. This is about far more than a few fat cats caught with their hands in the pension cookie jar. These men, these noble cardinals of capitalism, would leave a void that must be filled. But even as I write there are men of equal stature are scrambling to fill that void. The real danger is to the principles that these men stood for. Accounting discrepancies be damned, the principles upon which their actions were based remain the cornerstone of our capitalist system. And preeminent among those principles is that profits are the sacred cloth out of which is woven the fabric of society. And if the masses get their 401k's stepped on, well that's just business.
