The Frontier Bowie is forged from 5160, a steel well known for toughess and edge holding. I've left hammer marks and forging scales in the blade just as one would expect to find made by blacksmiths over a hundred years ago. Then a steel guard and pommel was fitted with an exotic Rosewood handle. I've taken extra care in the fit and and finish of the handle and guard to give this Bowie a very high quality crafted look and it is a winner. The Frontier Bowie comes with a brown leather sheath.
