This knife is designed for skinning! The humpback deep belly blade has a lot of curve that will take some of the work out of the skinning jobs. The point is semi-blunt making it harder to pierce through the hide while skinning. Its balance and feel are forward of the guard for choking up on to gain even more control. This knife gets the job done fast so you can get can get back at what you really like doing. This model has a full tang ATS-34 blade that is 1/8 inches thick and ground to a thin edge for easier cutting. It has been heat-treated to 59-61 RC. Black Linen Micarta scales are fitted in place to the full tang handle with brass pins; the guard and pommel are also of brass. The sheath for this knife is black hand stitched leather.
