The Adirondack Hunter features a upswept blade design preferred by many
old time hunters and campers. This knife is great to have around
anytime not just for its looks but also for the way it works and balances
in the hand. The 1/8" thick 1095 High Carbon
Tool steel is differentially heat treated and holds an outstanding edge.
The blade was blackened through the heat treating process which is how many
old forged knife was left. This also has the benifit of inhibiting
rust of the blade but if it does occur it is easily
blended back in with a little steel wool. The handle is deer horn.
The tang of the knife goes all the
way thought the handle for high strength with a brass guard and pommel. This
Adirondack hunter comes with brown leather sheath.
