The Coyote knife is a hard working hunting and go anywhere knife that also looks great.
The red stain finish on its 1/8" thick 1095 carbon blade keeps it from reflecting and giving away your location while on hunting and at the same time providing a measure of protection from rust. This is a carbon steel bladed knife
with a differential heat treatment so its edge if very hard ~61Rc and the spine or back of the blade is much softer at about 50Rc. The Coyote takes
a great edge and keeps it and because it is carbon steel is reasonably easy to re-sharpen. This knife has a full tang handle which means the blade
is the handle for maximum strength with rosewood scales attached and contoured for a comfortable fit in your hand. The Rustic Coyote Hunter comes with a
tooled brown leather sheath.
