I'm a woodworking hobbiest.
I have a woodshop in my garage and make stuff
I've joined the TiVo revolution!
I'm the proud owner of two TiVo brand personal video recorders. What's a TiVo? It's
a VCR with brains: built in program guide, automatic programming of shows on any
channel, fast-forward and rewind live TV to skip commercials and no
more video cassettes!
Both of my units have had hard drive upgrades using information from the
Hacking The TiVo FAQ and by sharing notes on the
TiVo AVSForum. Check how one of my units is
connected to my audio/visual system for the very cool home theater experience.
I'm a juggler: I toss many things, a master of none: balls (up to four and
including bouncing silicon), clubs (passing up to six), machetes, home-made torches,
rings, cigar boxes and the diabolo.
Check out the Juggling Information Service.
You too can toss random objects for no apparent reason. Juggling is not
a spectator sport!
Find your own
Juggling Stuff
and join the fun!

When I travel, I search for the last missing geocache. I've found a few:
Find
some yourself by visiting the Geocaching
website.
I'm trying to find evidence of extra-terrestrial life by analyzing data from SETI
on my computer whenever I'm not using it.
I wrote up some travel logs for backpacking trips
for your reading enjoyment.
I'm a former counselor at Bearskin Meadow Camp.
Bearskin is a magical place for children and families living with
diabetes mellitus. At Bearskin, kids and adults learn to take charge of
their illness and live life to the fullest.

I'm wearing an insulin pump. My pager-size pump is the best thing going
to treat insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.
It gives me small amount of insulin every few minutes. This treatment is as close
as we can get to simulating a functioning pancreas. Contrary to popular belief,
insulin is not the cure for diabetes. It's merely a treatment that helps
manage this deceptively complex disease. Check out the
Insulin Pumpers web page.
I used to be Facilitator and Team Leader at
Challenge Sonoma Adventure Ropes Course. CSARC is where people do thrilling
stuff like jump out of redwood trees just so they can tell themselves they
did it!
