Who? What? Where? When? Why?
People who want to push personal limits both emotionally and
physically. Everybody has their own limits to be pushed and the
ropes course experience is rich with metaphors of our everyday
lives. CSARC is a non-profit agency affiliated with University
of California Cooperative Extension.
New games, low and high elements are all part of the program at
CSARC. Laughing and smiles on faces of determination come for
free.
On the grounds of Sonoma Developmental Center near Glen Ellen,
CA (about an hour north of San Francisco). This area is famous
as the "Valley of the Moon" because of the naturally beautiful
landscape. Some of the world's finest wine comes from this
area. CSARC is built in a redwood grove surrounding a creek on
the side of Sonoma Mountain.
Days are scheduled between April and November for groups. There
are "Open Days" about once a month for individuals, families and
small groups not part of a large group.
Because you might just become an emotionally stronger individual,
because you might gain greater empathy for others, because you may
gain courage to take on the next of life's challenges. But most
of all -- because it's fun!
