Editor's Pick Sometimes when we run across an interesting/unusual/informative book, especially an older or out-of-print one, we like to bring it to your attention. Here's one: League of Nations. The Armaments Year-Book 1939/40. Geneva: League of Nations, 1940 As a precise measure of the world's armed forces, this is an imperfect book. But it provides an excellent overview of military power at the beginning of the war and it serves as a remarkable documentation of what nations knew about each other's strength at the time.

News from Tony Le Tissier Author Tony Le Tissier tells us that he has completed Patton's Pawns: The 94th US Infantry Division at the Siegfried Line and it has been accepted for publication later this year by University of Alabama Press. He is also currently working on two more titles: Berlin Battlefield Guide Book and The 1945 Battle of Berlin.
