ImHG: The Intermountain History Group

The U.S.-Mexican War and
the Peoples of the Year 2000

The Intermountain History Group is an informal focus of geographic and linguistic energies, very roughly headquartered in the region "west of Pecos." It is preparing a series of web-sites devoted to an interactive, non-nationalistic feeling for what conflict has been like in the parts of America north of the Isthmus of Panama. So far, there have been three sites:

Civil Wars in North America: Stories of Linkage
The U.S.-Mexican War and the Peoples of the Year 2000
(with its Spanish version: La Guerra México-EU y los pueblos del año 2000)
CW-1: The First Civil War, 1830-1842.
