Want your Pyr's picture on the PYR-L members' picture page?

It's as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Scan a photo of your dog; it must have good contrast and color definition. No show photos, please.
  2. Save the file as a .JPG graphic. No other type of file will be accepted; do not save as a .GIF
  3. E-mail the .JPG file as a binary attachment to cdlcruz@sonic.net. Please keep the .JPG under 50K in size.
Remember that the picture must be it's own file - one picture to a file - with a .JPG extension. In the e-mail message, identify the dog by owner's name and dog's callname only. The site owners reserve the right to crop or resize a picture to fit the site. The site owners have complete descretion as to whether or not a picture is used, or how long it remains on the archive page.

WANT TO ADD A PICTURE BUT DON'T HAVE A SCANNER?

Not a problem! First, many places are now offering a scanning service. Try your local Kinko's, Staples, Business Depot, Office Place, or check the Yellow Pages under Copying Services. You might be able to get your photo scanned locally at a reasonable cost.

If not, then there's another way, provided you're willing to part with a non-returnable photograph...

Catherine de la Cruz has offered to scan photographs that are mailed to her. The scanned image becomes the property of the site maintainer, and a copy will be emailed to you as an attachment for your own personal use. No photographs will be returned!

Note that the photo will NOT be returned under any circumstances! Do not send the only copy you have!

If you need a copy of a photo and don't have the negative, you can get copies made from prints at many Costco locations, Kinkos or some photo stores. It's expensive, but it means you keep the original.
