Stories of the strange are popular all over the world. Don't we all like to be frightened - just a bit? It is difficult to think of a culture that does not have tales of ghosts, witchcraft, and unexplained things that make us shiver. I do not tell "Jump" tales like those told at Boy Scouts campfires. I tell about the strange things that may have really happened, cautionary tales, stories that stay with you. The supernatural is everywhere,
it might even be standing right behind you...   


FLYING SKELETON

Bernardo got into bed but he kept one eye open. His wife washed the dishes and came into the bedroom. Things seemed to be normal until he saw her turning around and around and chanting “Spin away, skin away. Spin away, skin away.” And her skin was falling off of her body until it was in a little pile at her feet, and there was nothing but a skeleton standing there in his bedroom!
