Well,I was quite a novice with these computer things, but I went
ahead and jumped into the whole thing head first! I woke up one
day while I was home sick from work and just started to list the
things that I wanted in my first and last{for a while I hope!}
computer. I called a local computer store and ordered it! So, now
I have a Pentium 100 with 16 mb EDO ram, a 28.8 modem Diamond
Stealth video card and SB soundcard. It's loads of fun.In June of
1996 I installed Windows 95. Took some getting used to, I think
i've finally warmed up to itI set it up to boot to either Win95
or my old setup of Dos 6.22 and Win3.11. Now, I think I might get
rid of the 3.11 side of things.June 13
For my birthday a friend put in a 4 GIG Western Digital hard
drive, a 12 speed Creative Labs Cd-Rom "Blaster" and
added 32 mb of EDO ram for a total of 48 mb!! He reloaded
Win95...without the 3.1 part. I am no longer clinging to the old
Windows!!
Well for fun I like to do many things. Sometimes I like to go
out with my sister and sing Karaoke. It is a lot of fun
especially if I get going on the oldies. We are going to Hawaii
in April of '97!!Done That
It was beautiful. I met Gloria Estefans nephew. I almost drowned
"snuba" diving...that seems a bit dangerous to me for
someone who has never snorkled. But,all in all, I had a real good
time.
This is nice!
Ya, I like the outdoors. The beach is actually a place I like
to go when I can.But, alas, life is far too busy for a lady with
a more than full time job. I get home late often from my job as a
nurse at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital so I travel
in"Cyberspace" a lot!
