"Donald Miller , best known for his work with Borbetomagus, whose creativity and emotional resonance reflects the broad spectrum of aesthetics---all manner of avant garde art, radical philosophies, and indeed, rock 'n' roll---which color his expression.....his is a sustained...and defiant examination of the noise particles inherent in a magnetic field."   -----Cadence

Michael Schumacher is a New York-based composer whose music has been praised by La Monte Young as "proof that equal temperament can still be hauntingly beautiful." He has received numerous awards and commissions, including the Indiana University Composition Prize. Michael's guitar playing with Dogbowl (Shimmy Disc) was described by William Berger of WFMU as "genius".

"A profound and beautiful demonstration of the outer limits of white-noise (de)composition by Borbetomagus' lauded guitarist and a composer of electronic sound installations. The 30-minute drone-athon "Lamentation on the Death of Thrash Metal" stands as one of this century's most moving pieces of music."  ------Alternative Press

"My favourite album of 1997 was the Donald Miller/Michael Schumacher Flood CD on Warm-O'-Brisk, the world would definitely be a better place if everyone owned a copy of it."
------Nick Cain (Opprobrium), in Perfect Sound Forever
