Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in California, Don obtained his A.A. degree from Santa Rosa Junior College, his B.A. Degree from the University of California at San Diego, and his law degree from University of Southern California in 1988.
A Phi Alpha Delta, Don was the recipient of the Dorothy W. Nelson Justice Award and was a member of the Editorial Board (1987-1988) of the Computer Law Journal and University of Southern California Major Tax Planning Journal.
Don was an Assistant Professor at Sonoma State University, 1989-1991, and an Extern Clerk to the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California in 1987.
Don is admitted to practice law before all the State Courts of California and is also admitted to practice before the District of Columbia; U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Don has been a champion of injury victim and consumer rights for two decades, and he is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California. He is also a proud member of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, an association dedicated to representing the injured against corporate greed.
