Wood Gate There are no 'patterned ' radiuses. Every arch in this Contemporary Wood Gate is distinct. Inviting the sort of repeated scrutiny more commensurate with a painting than a Wood Gate.

Designer gates  Wanting the upstaging effect of an Entry Gate with a vanishing, swooping truss with plenty of muscle and girth

Designer gates

Designer gates  WIt was the embedded wenge beading on the Wood Gate's panels that were recently mimicked on a patron's garage door. This small, seemingly innocent detail was enough to carry the precedent of the gates over to the garage doors and provide, in the end, a sense of like-minded design to the house. Hopefully we'll have site photos of this at some juncture.

Designer gates

Designer gates   Odd, but a Garden Gate does in fact serve a purpose, and we must consider the inconvenience of any segment being too open and thereby inviting small animals to pass to and fro.

Designer gates

Designer gates  It would be much much easier to fashion all the wenge stock to the same radius, and yet each one exemplifies a graduating arch away from the primary truss.

Designer gates

Designer gates  Lots of little tenons joining each segment, marked and labeled so the absent-minded woodworker keeps it straight.

Designer gates

Designer gates  There were of course no drawings for the original, beyond what was formed in Prowell's own mind.

Designer gates

Designer gates  African Mahogany, unlike the western cedar of most of the CPW gates, requires a finish.
