After
architecture and prior to the Design Dept under Buckminstyer
Fuller, Prowell dallied in college at Southern Illinois University
as a Fine Arts major. While others were painting live models and
nude figures, he repeatedly turned in paintings of geometrical
configurations that eventually had his professors suggesting
Design over Art. The below Garden Gate #81 is not Prowell's impressionist attempt at a nude. It is moreover an ineluctable need to configure lines and vectors and their variable intersections.
