Prog Rock Nightmare #2. My second installment of this special, which will probably be a quarterly event, as I'm not using up ideas as fast as I expected. Had some fun this time with albums slated for "deep storage" -- i.e. discs being removed from the regular library. One was Emerson Lake & Powell, which I wanted to use because "Mars" and "Hoedown" had been played at Shoreline's July 4 concert earlier that night -- seemed fitting to throw them in.

The other was was GTR, a truly horrible rock band with Steve Howe and Steve Hackett. I want do to that each time: bring out some awful pop album that some prog-rocker tried to do. God knows I've got enough of that at home.

Also continued my pattern of one major suite per show, this time from King Crimson. (I'm saving up the really good long-form songs for better time slots.)

Hoping to do PRN #3 sometime around Labor Day...
