George Bush in a nutshell

Bill Hangley Jr. has a pair of brass ones:

So when I had the chance to shake Bush's hand, I said, "Mr. President, I'm very disappointed in your work so far. I hope you only serve four years." His smiling response was swift:

"Who cares what you think?"

Hey Chris! I thought it was interesting that Bush said "Who cares what you think" too. I tend to mouth off when people say something I don't like too, so I suppose I can (I'm ashamed to say) understand Bush's reaction...

but he's the friggin' president. What, he couldn't say, "I aim to defy your low expectations of me," or "I hope to prove to you I'm not so bad," or even "Hey, give me time, I'm just getting started here!" or "You ain't seen nothing yet!" accompanied by a smile of course (the last two have a cheerily ominous ring to them, don't you think)?. His actual response does sound like the Bush we know and loathe, and this is the kind of thing that makes me wonder why so many people find him charming.
