*Minotaur Allies*
From the depths of Hell Pit and the cold of the Northern Chaos Wastes came the team known as the Kings of Chaos. No one knows exactly how or why it was formed or exactly where it came from. Primarily Chaos, it recieved substantial backing both in terms of money and players from Clan Moulder, purportedly due to some problems between Clans Moulder and Rigens. While no one was ever quite able to pin down an origin for the team, it soon became a moot point, as the Kings rapidly became THE force to reckon with in terms of power Blood Bowl.
Led originally by the shrewd and deadly Dorjak Sureclaw, the team racked up casualties left and right, and went straight to the Spike! I championship without suffering a single loss. After Dorjak's death at the hands of Das Ubervermin, the King's hulking and insane Minotaur Payne Getski became team captian. (not that it mattered much, the Kings pretty much did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted, being team captain basically ment a bigger trough of giblets (often of thier last opponents) after each game)
Eventually the Kings became feared like none other, with an aura of invincibility that had players planning more how to survive a game than how to win it. The Kings even offered a bounty to any team that could beat them, in order to keep teams from refusing to take the field with them entirely. Then Lightning struck, or more exactly, the Thunder Mountain Lightning struck the Kings what was to be thier only defeat, with Billy 'Hands' Thompson running in the final TD in overtime. This loss only served to push the Kings one step closer to complete madness, and made them even more brutal in their second season, where they took Chaos Cup II.
After winning 2 straight titles, the merchandising possibilities were too much to keep the offers away, and while only a small fraction of business proponents survived approching the Kings, those that did became very wealthy, indeed. One of theese industrious fellows unwisely decided on a product that wasn't very safe to display around the more unstable players. When shooting began on Charlie Chubb's Gooey Chooey Stew, star Minotaurs Payne Getski and Howling Long didn't finish eating till they had devoured most of their team! Only Withergrasp Doubledrool (now on the Chaos All-Stars) and Skreet survived. After the 11th Reiksguard Cavalry finally detained Getski and Long, they were locked up and sent to Arkham Asylum, an experimental facility in the northeast corner of the Empire. The Kings ended their reign at the top of the league as quickly as they began it.
