This item is a beautiful pocket mirror made of solid wood. The flip-open top is a light Baltic Birch that takes the engraving perfectly, the base a deep, wonderfully grained rosewood.

I use these tough, made-for-travel mirrors as a base to create functional art. The light color of the birch is perfect to showcase my original artwork or ancient designs full of beauty and meaning, the rich hue of the rosewood a beautiful compliment to the birch. A very pretty purse or pocket companion.

Something I particularly love about this travel mirror is it's ability to free stand. Especially with my contact lenses, to have both hands free is a delight and mandatory for practical reality.
