Campers enjoy a beautiful view of Indian Valley during an afternoon hike

Every summer since June 1956, we have had the pleasure of providing a happy, healthy vacation for children at our mountain ranch we call the Walking G Ranch. We operate as a family, with everyone sharing the work and the fun.

We produce much of our own milk, eggs, butter, meat, and vegetables. Which provide us with wholesome meals!

The campers gather the eggs, select vegetables from our garden (which they help plant and grow), learn to milk the cow (or goat!), churn butter, make ice cream, and may help in the kitchen to make yummy meals everyone enjoys.

Our camp activities include: learning to care for animals, over nights camp outs, training young horses, fishing, archery, riflery, horse back riding, arts and crafts, hiking, canoeing, inner tubing, teaching young foals to lead,

camp horse shows, group games, laughing, singing, dancing, fun, and companionship!

Walking G Ranch Camp is available to
Boys and Girls Ages 7-14 years old
Counselors-In-Training Ages 15-16 years old
