Umbra01 Summary: This chapter doesn't really contain much Mulder and Scully, but it does have a little Skinner. In order to understand the rest of the novel, you will need to at least read this chapter, as it has the original murders that our favorite duo are called into help solve. An unknown murderer is stalking military personnel and intelligence types, and killing them in fantastical ways, while making sure to leave physical evidence at each crime scene that points to a man that has been dead for thirty years. |

Umbra02 Summary : Mulder and Scully are called to Skinner's office and introduced to Commander Matthew Stone, USN, a Special Agent with the Naval Investigative Service. Skinner decides to have Stone, Scully and Mulder join forces to track down a murderer who has been dead for almost thirty years. Commander Stone gives Mulder and Scully a briefing in Mulder's basement office, revealing a very private and very shocking relationship to the murdered victims, and the suspected murderer. |
