I have dealt with the Mohawk product you speak of...I think. Is it something like 9" in width? It becomes hard to keep track of all these product lines today. You may want to look at the Mohawk transition pieces as they are made of solid wood and do not match the floor. I had alot of problems with that.
btw..For an experienced installer it is NOT an easy installation and the glue cleanup requires acetone if no wiped during the installation. Don't know anything about IKEA...Robert's suggestions are the way to go.
