: : I don't want to remove the old ceremic tiles...56 years old. I just want to put 12" lino tiles over them. Can you recommend an adhesive or something to make the surface a little more smooth?

: Hi

: Is your old tile damaged. If its not then you can repaint them. Theres lots of products out there.
: Ive had success with a craft product called Permenamel. You can use it on glass, ceramics, tile, porcelain , etc. Its dishwsher safe so it is permanent. Its sold in craft stores like Michaels and Joann Fabrics. You could be creative and do a faux finish like marble. Or you could use stencils to do an all over design or just a border.
: Good luck .......Stanlie

..Dishwasher safe?..
