The first question is which way should I lay the planks? The second question is I know there is a 1/4" expansion gap required at all walls, but where the tile starts at the hallway the tile is even with the wall. If I only leave 1/4" gap how will be able to use a transition piece? And lastly how will I be able to do the alcove?
