I'm putting a bedroom and bathroom in my basement.We probably will put in sleepers and 3/4 plywood under the carpet+pad(bedroom) as well as the sheet vinyl (bathroom).A friend of mine has heard of a new underlayment of some kind that would eliminate the need for the sleepers and go right onto the concrete.The carpeting and sheet vinyl would go directly onto it.Does anyone know what this is?
