Armstrong makes a product #S-295 Plastic Seam Sealer in about 10 oz. tubes. You can mix a small amount with a universal paint tint to try to match your existing vinyl as close as possible to fill the gauge.
Check at your local Armstrong retailer. It might just do the trick!
