I would leave a 1/4" gap around the perimeter of the DuraRock installation (also counters, etc. or any "Perimeter Joint") to allow for expansion and contraction of the subfloor. Fill this joint with either urethane or silicone caulk.

Nearly every customer I've done work for wanted the tile flush to the walls and counters and grouted. However, the tile should have at least an 1/8" joint (recommend 1/4") and filled with a mildew resistant silicone caulk. GE & other manufacturer's silicone caulks comes in a wider variety of colors now. I know it can be a difficult product to work with but the end results are worth the extra effort. Placing some tape along the tile joint and adjoining vertical surface will lesson the likelyhood for error. Once the caulk has cured the tape can be removed.

Good Luck!
