This is the home page of Donna Schaffer's personal websites. On the pages and links of this site you'll find images of my oil paintings; digital photos from trips; links to various web sites I've designed and created for some friends; and even bounce by bounce stories of horseback riding adventures in Iceland! April, 2008 - In celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary Charlie and I chartered a 40 ft. sailboat in the Windward Islands. Tom and Sharon Healy joined us, their first time sailing! After 10 days on the boat we're all still friends and trying to talk them into Tonga or the Maldives in 2009 or 2010. October, 2007 - I tagged along to Europe with Charlie on his business trip to Berlin. Then Erika joined us. The three of us visited Potsdam & Dresden. Then Erika and I went to Prague and Vienna. In Vienna we connected with Petra and her family. Petra had spent a month with us in California when both girls were 11 years old. The following summer Erika spent a month in Vienna. They had a wonderful time getting to know each other again. August, 2007 - Charlie and I joined our longtime friends Bob & Carol and spent two weeks on rafts going down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. June, 2007 - Charlie and I drove down to San Diego to rendezvous with Erika. She was the 2nd mate on the research vessel Wecoma. The ship was in port there for a few days. While in San Diego the three of us took the photographer's tour of the Wildlife Park. February, 2007 - Charlie and I spent a week on a diveboat in Tahiti and a few more days at a tiny resort on the small Tahitian island, Tahaa If you want to tell your friends about this site, and can't remember the URL (A nerdy term for the website address).
