Nanodrop Integration with Tecan Freedom EVO® Systems
Expanding the Range of Traditional Liquid Handling
By integrating the Nanodrop platform from Innovadyne Technologies with the Freedom EVO platform from Tecan Group, Ltd. we have been able to utilize the strengths of both platforms to increase the breadth of applications of each system. A Nanodrop ExtY, II, or Express liquid handling instrument from Innovadyne can be integrated with any Tecan Freedom EVO platform for applications requiring high-precision low volume dispensing. Innovadyne’s proprietary fluidic design enables the routine use of difficult media (such as bead and cell-based assay materials) with minimal maintenance.

The Tecan Freedom EVO system provides bulk reagent dispensing capability and plate handling robotics, enabling the integration of multiple instruments and accessories such as plate sealers, incubators and centrifuges under unified software control, and thus providing a complete application solution.
The combined systems can schedule and execute complex protocols and perform data manipulation within a single integrated method. All functions can be configured to run concurrently with other activities, achieving maximum throughput.
