1973 Porsche 914-4 Side View Of Porsche 914-4
(An old picture of my 914. Note the crappy black mirrors
and rubber antena(sp?).)

This Porsche has had quite a lot of work done to it. Almost none of the work has been cosmetic becuase I have spent all of my money trying to make it run better.

To date my father and I have replaced/fixed many of the lines running through the tunnel (what fun...), rebuilt the pedal cluster, replaced/fixed the throttle(sp?) positioner, de-rusted and repainted the battery box, and replaced syncros 1-2-3. All this was done just to make the car driveable.

The non-essential (i.e. cosmetic) things that have been done: put on the stock side mirrors (my rear view mirrior is a crappy $15 mirror from Kragens), and removed the damn platic antena and put in the original stock one. Which, btw, came with the car (the antena, not the mirrors) but the guy I bought it from thought that the black antena looked better. Replaced the pasenger side door handle and did work on the locking mechanism, and new rubber seals and various strip caulk to slow down the leaks.

This is a pretty good overview of what has been done to my car. I'm sure I have forgotten some of the things I have done. I will try to provide other pages (time allowing) about the affore mentioned.
