Know all men by these Presents, That I, Hamilton Bever of Mendocino
County and State of California for and in consideration of the sum of twenty
dollars to me paid by Nathaniel Smith of said County and State, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant and convey unto the said
Nathaniel Smith and to his heirs and afsigns that certain piece or parcel of
land lying, being and situate in Bigriver Township in said County and
State, which is bounded and described as follows to quit: Beginning at a point
where the eastern line of the coastroad or public highway running along and
near the coast of the Pacific Ocean intersects the south boundary line of the
North East quarter of Section twenty five (25) in Township eighteen (18) North
Range eighteen (18) West of Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, thence 
from said point of beginning running east on the last named line two hundred
and ninety five feet, thence northerly and parallel with said coastroad onehundred
and forty seven and one half (147 ½) feet, thence west and parallel with the south 
boundary line two hundred and ninety five (295) feet to said coastroad, thence southerly 
on its eastern line onehundred and forty seven and one half (147 ½) feet to the
point of beginning with the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, to have
and to hold the same unto the said Nathaniel Smith, his heirs and afsigns forever.
	In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal on this third day of
March A.D. onethousand eight hundred and seventy seven.
