The Population Explosion
and a Potential famine

It is a major tragedy that world leaders, plitical, religious, and military completely ignore the population explosion. Read this article. It says that "Because of war, drought, political instability, high food prices and poverty, hunger now effects one in six people, by the United Nations estimate." What a sad conclusion!

What is wrong with the thinking of all of these leaders?? It is NOT war that causes hunger, it is too many people. It is NOT political instability that causes hunger, it is too many people. It is NOT high food prices, it is too many people. And poverty does NOT cause hunger, it is too many people. The population explosion increases demand while supply is reduced. To blame it on politics, high food prices and poverty misses the point. The media (as well as leading politicians, economists, and religious leaders) has myopic vision in the worst possible way by concentrationg on SYMPTOMS not basic causes. The basic cause is the population explosion.....90,000,000 more people added to the world population every year, over and above the deaths.
