Never raise taxes!
So George Bush promises the moon, yet never to increase government
spending or raise taxes....just what the American people want to hear.

How do people expect to support this expensive war?? No one wants higher taxes...let someone else pay the bill. Wave your flags and scream "support our troops!" However, don't raise our taxes, don't start a draft and don't send any of my sons or daughters to Iraq. Yeah, sure, send the droids. What hypocrisy!! Well, Bush will use the Republican Platinum Visa card that has no limits! That national debt, now in the trillions, must eventually be paid by someone...and that someone will be our children, grand children and great grand children.

People scream "don't raise my taxes!!" As a result no candidate would dare say he would raise taxes. If he did, he would never become president. Well, why not raise taxes?? Just think, all that the American taxpayer would have to do is put the taxes on a VISA card.
WHAT??? Are you crazy?? Why should I want to build up a huge personal debt just to raise taxes? Well....what do you think George W. Bush is doing? The US government is in the greatest debt in all history...in the trillions and counting. Bush is indeed putting a HUGE spending bill on YOUR credit card without your permission, and for many, without even realizing it.

The giant corporations have much more clever means of squeezing money out of middle class citizens other than higher taxes. They give payoffs to Republicans in the house and senate as well as the president to give them huge tax breaks (under the deceitful argument that the corporations will hire more people). Meanwhile they make sure that the minimum wage is kept as low as possible so that they will make the highest profits. And what do they do with those profits? That wealth is hoarded in the private bank accounts of CEOs and executives. Do you think for a minute that these corporate leaders will share that with their hired help? If you think that you are incredibly naive.
Another method is to manipulate the stock market in such a way that most small investors will "lose" their money. Where do you think that "lost" money goes?? That wealth goes directly into the private bank accounts of wealthy corporation executives. Why do you think they want the general public to keep their retirement funds in stocks?
