No family planning!
The primary stated objection to U.S. funding of family planning is the potential use of such funds to finance coercive abortion in such countries as China. This is sheer paranoia. Over and over it has been correctly pointed out that funds used for family planning would be used for voluntary artificial birth control methods to made available to those who desparately request them. If birth control is used. people can have sex without fear of unwanted pregnancies. In which case, there would be far fewer requests for abortions. Abortion is not a reasonable form of birth control, abortion is the last desparate act to avoid having an unwanted child to be born in the world. What woman wants to go through an endless number of abortions??
What we should examine are the REAL reasons those forces are aligned against the use of U.S. funds for family planning. The number one reason is the senslessd objection aginst people having sex for pure pleasure, instead having more babies. To Catholics and Muslims it is a sin for women to have such pleasure, and as Archbishop Wojtyle argued that :
"artificial contraception degrades women."

The sheer madness of these twisted and contorted ideas by religious groups is a form of mental illness and must not even be tolerated. Some Muslim groups burn or cut out the clitoris of women to prevent them from enjoying sex, often with crude instruments while someone is sitting on their chest! Infections often set in and sometimes the procedure leaves a woman crippled for life. THAT IS SICK. There is no other way to describe such beliefs. It is sexually brutalizing women and is worse than murder. Arguments in the name of "religious freedom" that favor such criminal abuses, don't just border on lunancy, they are totally insane.
Another reason for objecting to use of birth control is the idea that there are all those unborn children, somewhere "up there" who would not enjoy the "banquet of life," and that preventing pregnancies would somehow prevent them from being born. That is pure religious superstition and has absolutely no basis in reality.
In addition, if women are kept in a perpetual state of pregnancy, they can be kept in a perpetual state of slavery to their husband. So a "wife" is not much better than a man's camel or cow....simply a peice of property. Providing a means for a woman to have the same sexual pleasure as her husband, is intolerable for these religious extremists .
For those above reasons, George W. Bush does not fund family planning. The abortion issue is simply an excuse. Meanwhile the world human population is spiraling out of control, exploding relentlessly towards a massive world disaster of epic proportions beyond the wildest nightmares.

We should consider what the lack of available contraceptives would mean with respect to uncontrolled population growth. In 1968, Paul Ehrlich correctly pointed out that the world population was doubling every 37 years. He believed that world disaster was just around the corner. Technologists disagreed saying that "for ever mouth born there were two hands." Along with a human brain, people could solve anything. Ehrlich disagreed saying:
"Perhaps the meaning of a doubling time of around 37 years is best brought home by a theoretical exercise. Let's examine what might happen on the absurd assumption that the population continued to double every 37* years into the indefinite future.
If growth continued at that rate for about 900 years, there would be some 60,000,000,000,000,000 people on the face of the earth. Sixty million billion people. This is about 100 persons for each square yard of the Earth's surface, land and sea. A British physicist, J. H. Fremlin, guessed that such a multitude might be housed in 2,000-story building covering our entire planet. The upper 1,000 stories would contain only the apparatus for running this gigantic warren. Ducts, pipes, wires, elevator shafts, etc., would occupy about half of the space in the bottom 1000 stories. This would leave three or four yards of floor space for each person. I will leave to your imagination the physical details of existence in this ant heap, except to point out that all would not be black. Probably each person would be limited in his travel. Perhaps he could take elevators through all 1,000 residential stories but could travel only within a circle of a few hundred yards’ radius on any floor. This would permit, however, each person to choose his friends from among some ten million people!

Could growth of the human population of the Earth continue beyond that point? We would have reached a “heat limit." But George Bush is swayed by religious fanatics to withhold family planning funds from the U.S. and eventually the consequences will be disasterous. Remember that all of the corporations, giving huge sums of money for Bush's political campaign for presidency, want the cheapest labor possible, hence want no limit on population growth. Let them breed like flies and they will work for starvation wages just to stay alive. Meanwhile corporate executives will enjoy a luxurious life of incredible wealth at the expense of economic slaves.
Much of this economic philosophy is based on the fantasies of Julian Simon. George Bush follows Simon's ideas completely.
