City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Works, Bureau of
Engineering, Hydralics Section (see below). this contract will be 6 to

G.I.S. Programmer/Analyst -Project Manager, Sewer G.I.S.
Development Project
City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Works,
Bureau of Engineering, Hydralics Section
Team leader developing Sewer basemap and associated databases and
applications for building and maintaining sewer information. Supervising
development of distributed applications including web based GIS browser
and sewer maintanence applications. Coordinating integrating document management
for 15,000 asbuilt drawings for accompanying data to the sewer GIS basemap.
Developing ESRI Map objects, Internet Map Server, Arc View end user applications
as well as Autocad and database back end and development application.
G.I.S. Programmer/Analyst - City and County of San Francisco
Office of Geographical Data Services
Developed system and methods to update cadastral files for existing
County G.I.S. in AutoCAD for export to ArcInfo and ArcView. Required extensive
task automation using LISP and VBA as well as systems analysis for integrating
Assessors office, Street Use and Mapping - Subdivision office with GIS
department. Currently creating, evaluating and beginning implementation
of automated systems to correct and update large street centerline network
and associated databases.
G.I.S. Analyst – Synapse G.I.S.
Set up aerial photos, digitally analyzed color infrared and multispectral
photos for crop analysis, mapped vineyard and winery facilities, developed
slope/aspect analysis and topographical maps using AutoCAD and Softdesk
S8 software.
Mapping Technician – Geyserville and Cloverdale Fire Protection Districts
Developed G.I.S. systems for fire department mapping from scratch
using AutoCAD Map 2.0-3.0. Built tagged parcels for over 6500 parcels,
road centerline topologies and produced over 200 pages of maps for use
on fire trucks. Interfaced extensively with other agencies, developed cooperative
projects with Sonoma County G.I.S. and developed interface techniques for
exporting G.I.S. projects to Arc View, Arc Info and Map Info software.
North County Mapping Project – Sonoma County G.I.S.
Vectored parcels, roads and streams for over 350 square miles of
northern Sonoma County from existing scanned maps.
G.I.S. Technical Support and Consulting – Caricato Systems
Provided technical support to customers of AutoCAD dealer with
strong emphasis on interfacing AutoCAD Map 2.0-3.0 with database systems,
especially Access, Excel and DB3. Provided project consulting and training
to governmental agencies and corporations for infrastructure maintenance,
planning, traffic safety and facilities management projects.
AutoCAD Plotting Consultant – Healdsburg Blueprint
Set up plotting services for local blueprint shop using OCE 9575.
Helped establish protocols, standards and procedures, trained staff and
held customer seminars for advanced plotting features. Troubleshooting
plotting problems especially with raster images and AutoCAD.

Technical Support - SBT Accounting Systems 1997
Provided support to resellers and endusers of SBT software, primarily
in General Ledger with a secondary emphasis in the Inventory Control, Sales
Orders and Accounts Receivables modules. Responsible for assisting/advising
on repairs of database errors, troubleshooting system errors, training
and advising on uses of software and suggesting alternative ways of using
software to meet specific needs. Short-term, temporary assignment which
required rapidly learning specific accounting software.
Computer Consultant - Self Employed 1986 - 1996
Worked with variety of businesses evaluating and developing computer
systems such as:
• Evaluated manufacturing process and bookkeeping system and designed
new reports on SBT accounting systems and Foxpro for RVB Creations. Developed
financial projections for use during partnership dissolution.
• Set up accounting systems and computer programs for voice training
teacher, small non-profit and larger non-profit providing housing programs
to the mentally ill.
• Developed interim order tracking system on spreadsheets for Standard
Structures on temporary assignment with Liberty Temporaries.
Technical Support - Basic Four Corp. 1979- 1981
Performed support operations for large business computer manufacturer.
Primarily alpha testing products, extensive experience writing basic language

and low income housing. Extensive spreadsheet modeling including
large budget and cash flow projections to evaluate real estate and hospital
