I don’t remember purposefully color coordinating this unit, but I think the red and white with a touch of yellow motif looks good. This stand was probably from my “middle” period of painting figures since I obviously felt up to painting animals.

The town and Region of Bray is located between Rouen and Aumale.

The town and Archdiocese of Rouen is found in Normandy on the banks of the Seine about thirty miles from the channel. Philippe, bother of Count Charles III of Alençon, is cited as being bishop of Beauvais 1356, as well as Cardinal, Archbishop of Rouen, and Patriarch of Jerusalem, although no dates are listed for the latter.

The town and Countship of Eu is found fifty miles to the north of Rouen on the Channel coast. The countship was confiscated from Raoul III of Brienne in 1350 and given to Jean of Artois, son of Robert III, count of Artois.

The town and Countship of Aumale is about forty miles northeast of Rouen. This countship passed in 1342 to Jean IV of Harcourt who appears elsewhere in the army, thus demonstrating why one might want to research one’s army before painting it.
