NotePals is a system for shared note-taking developed at U.C. Berkeley. PalmOS devices or the CrossPad digital notepad can be used to capture handwritten notes that are uploaded to a server for sharing. Users can browse publicly shared notes by date, time, and subject. I designed and implemented the client software for the CrossPad digital notepad as well as a custom shared notes browser that combined the shared notes with related documents.
