The picture below is of the Senior Readers (class '62). For those who have forgotten, the Senior Readers read in the morning chapel service.

Senior Readers

Top row (left to right): Dave Tomlinson, Roy Sewall, Robert Lafferty, Robert Lawrence, Henry Schwesinger. Bottom row (left to right): Gary Miller, Raymond Marks, Paul Lyons.

Here is a photograph of all of the 1961-62 Senior boys (left to right: Leo Deaver, Dave Martin *, Bill Jacobi, Roy Sewall, Henry Schwesinger, Edward Feehan, Gary Miller, Robert Lafferty, Paul Lyons, Raymond Marks, Dave Tomlinson, Donald Wiener).

* I'm trying to figure out how Dave Martin got into this picture; he was a junior!

Here are the 1961-62 Varsity Basketball Team (left to right, back row: Ed Feehan, Henry Schwesinger, Vic Aguinaldo, Don Wiener, Ray Marks, Gary Miller; left to right, front row: Bill Jacobi, Gordon Mau, Dave Tomlinson, Douglas Uytengsu) and the 1961-62 Varsity Cheerleaders (left to right: Sara Frampton, Nancy Schulz, Ann Thomas, Pam Sauerbier, Elizabeth Divers, Ann Lafferty).

The main event of Field Day is the greased pole contest. Did the senior class win this event every year?

Here's a picture of the spectators at the 1962 Field Day. The first person to identify everyone in this picture gets lunch at Gary's house!

This picture shows the culminating activity for Field Day 1962. The Brent "ladies" are selecting dates for the Sadie Hawkins Day Dance. Believe me, they were none too gentle about it. Guess the photograph speaks for itself. By the way, the fellow in the center with his back to you is Gordon Mau.

Another tradition is the Halloween party/dance. Here is Casey Pearson '65 in his costume. Other revelers included the Rev. Alfred L. Griffiths with T. J. Hyet (center) and Judy Bingham.

The 1962 Student Body is assembled in the library, youngest in front and the seniors in the back. Marcia Mau is in the 4th row, to the left of the young lady in a spotted blouse and wearing a pony tail. Gordon Mau is in the 7th row far left wearing glasses. I am just off his left shoulder (right shoulder as you view the picture). The ever popular Ian Rawson (7th grade teacher and senior dorm supervisor) is at the rear wall to the right of the door with his sweater draped around his shoulders. He was our first taste of real IVY LEAGUE!

Bob Lawrence and Ian Rawson exchange tips on the fine art of shaving.

Who can forget the lunches served on Neutral? (How come peanut butter and guava jelly comes to my mind?)
