Just got back home from the Kauai Brent reunion - mostly class of '75 but I crashed it. I'm sure Missy Sansing will write and tell most of it, but just wanted to say what a great job she did in organizing it - I had never met her before, and now I know I'll never forget her or her husband Bill - what a great couple!1 And we got to be part of their renewal of their 25th wedding vows last evening at sunset on a beautiful secluded beach on Kauai - complete w/ leis, guitar player and hula dancer, chapmpagne, and approx. 10 Brent alumni, plus spouses, kids, significant others, etc. Really a special evening to share w/ Missy and Bill and their 2 beautiful daughters. Lots of memories were shared about Brent and Baguio, and I was only there for the last 3 days - they had all been there for 5 days ahead of me and my husband, and they'll be there until this Tuesday. It was a great success and a wonderful reunion Missy!! Anne

They said it couldn't be done... but yes, we are already beginning to plan Brent Baquio Reunion 2002. More later.... do you think Baquio is ready to have all of us back? Interested? "60s" Brent Reunion / Texas Oct. 2000: The Brent reunion for 6,7, & 8 Oct. at Camp Allen, Navasota, Texas is now feverishly moving along, but we need payments from all who have signed up or have given their "okays" to Lani Mortenson. Cost is $67.50 X 2 nights per person double occupancy and $78.25 X 2 nights for a single room. The cost will cover the room, 6 meals, 2 social functions (Friday & Saturday nights)with snacks, sodas, beer & wine. A more thorough program will be put together after we know how many will attend. Activities may include tennis, horseback riding, nature walks, canoeing, hayrides etc and/or just plain visiting with each other and renewing old friendships. Payments must be made out to Camp Allen but must be sent to John and Julie Grant, 16 Canyon Ridge Dr., Rockwall, Texas 75087. This payment is non-refundable. We need payment by Jul 30 please. Le us know if you need to use the shuttle otherwise you can rent a car at the Houston Intercontinental Airport. The beautiful site is nestled amidst 800 acres of forest, has comfortable facilities in a relaxed atmosphere. More information will be sent out sometime late Aug early Sept. If you're thinking of attending any of the Brent reunions in the next few months, there should be some airfare bargains if you buy your tickets in July. United, Northwest, and Continental are matching USAir's cuts for 14 day advance purchase fares. Tickets have to be bought by July 21st. Southwest has a sale on 7 day advance purchases bought by July 27.

How would you like to access this web site by simply entering www.brentonian.org instead of the current long (very) address? It will cost $85 per year ($35 for domain registration and $50 for URL forwarding). I would absorb this cost myself but I maintain alumni sites for 3 schools and it would be pretty expensive. If I can find someone to pay for this expense for the year, s/he will become the sponsor for the site that year with his/her name displayed as the site sponsor on the front page. Anyone willing to be the sponsor this year? We have to move fast before someone else takes this name since brent.com, brent.org, brent.net and brentonian.com are already taken.

Here's the news about the 2000 reunion hosted by the 1960's classes. John and Julie Grant are the on-site hosts and coordinators....It will be held at Camp Allen, an Episcopal Conference Center near Navasota, TX. Camp Allen is within one hour of the Houston Intercontinental Airport. Camp Allen provides three shuttles to the airport daily. The facilities are excellent. Rooms for socials are provided without charge (included in the room fees). We are getting Episcopalian fees. Board and Lodging is $55.00 per person per night double occupancy. The fee includes use of all facilities, Tennis courts, Pavilions, Basketball Courts, Work Out Center, lake, etc.. There are also hiking trails throughout the 800 acre complex. Three meals per day are included in the price. I believe box lunches may also be arranged. The reunion will be October 7, 8 & 9, 2000. We have paid the deposit for 100 rooms. If you are interested in attending this reunion, send $10 per person to Lani Mortenson, 310 S. Iron, Paola, KS 66071. The list is filling up fast.... The reunion in the San Francisco area in 1998 was a rip-roaring success. There have been others on the east coast since that time....Can't wait to see you all

Hi everyone!! If anyone can remember me, I attended Brent 90-91 has a boarder. Being a military brat I've been in 3 different high schools and the one with the fondest memories is Brent. My roomate was Hwang-Jung-Yun. Some of my good friends are Meri Lubina,Kristina Purganan,Sady Callaghan and Rachel Cordero.While on vacation in Oahu,Hawaii a major tourist spot.Among all the hotels I checked into guess who was working the front desk at Aston Coral reef???
