The Brent-Baguio traditional Christmas Program is today. This year the school is combining a Christmas and Pilipino Day to present a "Philippine Christmas". December weather of course is here... chilly mornings, not a cloud in the sky and the late afternoons have started to provide us with a number of glorious sunsets. Season's Greetings to one and all, and I hope you can take a few moments to think of Magic Mountain in the course of your own Yuletide celebrations.

To answer Marijo's query below, that depends on WHEN you ate those brownies. I distinctly recall enjoying the Alice B. Toklas recipe...often. Can't eat just one... but the details get fuzzy...

The one thing I'll never forget about Brent and I've never found anywhere else is the brownies the dining room staff made. Those fudge brownies are to die for. Does anyone know where I can get the recipe?

I just (duh...) noticed that I never wrote into this site after the reunion last summer... my bad... to make a great week short, those from the Class of 1975 who came where: Norman Van Vactor and one of his 2 sons, Julie (Tin) and family, Robert Curby, Albert (Titong) Sevilla, Cindy Johnson, Tracy Dixon, Gillian Martin and her daughters, Myself & Bill (Brent Jr. College) and our family. From the class of '76, Noni (Donohue) Canzon and family and Anne Pearson ('73)and her husband. We all met in Poipu Beach for a week on the island of Kaua'i, Hawai'i.... the weather - perfect!... the food ... yummy! The drinks... Tropical! The wonderful hours spent with old friends... not nearly enough. We had a great place to stay and gather right next to the beach. There was a private pool and big yard to BBQ in, which we did every day. Many of us were there for longer than a week, so we just kept hanging out together. We took a boat excursion in the middle of the week, separating the seamen from the rest of us... I am sooo looking forward to the next reunion, which we are in the planning stages of, hopefully summer of 2003. And since we have found Dana Busse, I think we can crack the Canadian connection to some others from the class of 75... and maybe even get a few people in the PI to TAKE A VACATION and join us! Thanks Gerry and now if I can just get some photos down to you... Anyone wanting info. on future '75 reunions, write! Melissa

I went to Brent in 1966 or was it 1967 as Robyn Kenney. I found my birth family in 1984 so now go by my adoptive name of Roberta (Brazzle is my married name of 27 years to Bill.) Tonight I was able to hear from a friend, Frank Makin, who also went to Brent. He told me about this web site and it was fun to look at all the pcitures. Sincerely, "Robyn"

I was estatic to have found this site about 2 months ago and have been in contact with a few of my classmates since then. I do think there are too few of our classmates from '77 & '78 and would like to encourage anyone having attended in the late 70's to think of anyone they are still in contact with to sign up to this site. Not one person that has attended Brent that I know of hasn't said that the years there were the most memorable years of their lives. That says alot about Brent and The Philippines (Baguio City for us older alumni). PLEASE GET AS MANY ALUMNI FROM THE LATE 70's sign up as possible. WE NEED MORE REPRESENTATION!!!! I attended Brent '66-67', was a sophmore and left in the middle of my Junior year. Some of the people I remember are Scott Gibson, Richard Cormier, Greg S.,Mali P., Julie & John Grant,Mike Jones & Phoebe Orr(racoon eyes). I was the only non-senior in Senora's conversational spanish class(Julie,I believe you were in that class as well). I was on the volley ball team as well. I lived in a house on Gov.t pack road, next to Scott Gibson's house and would ride my motorbike to school. I now live in Corpus Christi, TX, my husband is a retired Army Officer, I have two sons, no grandchildren yet, but I have hope, my oldest is getting married soon. If anyone remembers me, would love to hear from you. I got a real kick out of finding this website. Reading some of the comments from the guestbook really brought back some great memories. Being in Baguio and Brent at that time was the best ever. Oh, maybe this will jar someones memory. I had a program called "Teen time with Chris" at the local radio station in Baguio:DZYB.

A proud hello from ACS/Saigon;class of 63. Alot of you kids made there way to Saigon for summer vacation. It was always great fun to catch up on stuff from Brent. There was this one blond girl. Very striking.About 16 Her father was military or maybe USOM or AID. I saw her @ the Brinks eating with her parents alot during 1962. She moved into a house just behind the ACS school on Van Duyet Blvd, the summer of 63. I have always been curious who she was. It's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask Thanks Bill
