Joy and laughter. No other words symbolize a reunion more, when school friends get together once again after many years to reminisce about the past and catch up with the present.
The Classes of '70 (Randy Ploesser and Gretchen Bongolan Donndelinger), '71 (Paul Martin, Gerry Geronimo, Fern Villaluna, and Charlie Batongmalaque), '72 (Kate Sciple Mianecke, Jerry Sliker, Jennifer Robinson, Rick Martin, and James Perkins), '73 (Mark Rosenfield Epstein, Kathleen Farretta, and Dave Jeffers), and '74 (and faculty) (Ken Guerra and Margie Geronimo) were represented at this reunion. Here are pictures of the gals and guys at this reunion. Everyone had their cameras out. These group pictures were taken on the boardwalk alongside Ocean Boulevard. It's a short walk from Stan and Kathleen's house. All you need to do is jaywalk across Ocean Boulevard. |
Some of us took a walk up and down the boardwalk while Randy and Kathleen share their observations. Who would not recognize this jacket no matter where they saw it? A lot of the time was spent recounting stories indoors and outdoors. Of course, yearbooks abounded and were perused with great interest. Gretchen also brought her complete and immaculate collection of Echoes. Current photographs of families were also shared. Here's another group picture taken at Stan & Kathleen's house. Fern doesn't mind a hand from Randy while Paul gets a neck rub from Gretchen. Others are content to sit around the table and talk. These guys did not forget the peace sign from our era. In the end, everyone was tired from the long nights, but happy that we had the opportunity to see each other again. So, who will organize the next reunion? |
