I love computers and used different platform before such as c64,128D,Atari, Amiga500, Amiga2000 and for the last 7 years i am using PCs. I think that I can say that I have to problems with computers and their software. I am fixing computers for other people with 99.99% success.

I am in the photoshop advanced class and think to know enough about it. I am using any existing program due to the fact that everything is downloadable.

I am from switzerland and studying in the usa to imrove my english and to open my horizon. I speak german and french as my native languages and english good enough to communicate my ideas, hopes and wishes. My goal is to go back to switzerland next summer with 7 certificates in my pocket. I want to start working for a webdesign company for a few years until my or our company INSIDEstudio.de or .com becomes popular and financially attractive.

I primarly use PCs I have Windows 2000 at home, but they make me use Macs at work OS X, so I know both. I still preffer pcs though.

I work hard in order to succeed and to accomplish my goals. I work as an intern at a web design company. I love learning about everything, and I would like to never stop going to school. Also, I like to dance latin music, computers and theatre.

Why are you taking this class?
Several reasons.....I enjoyed the "A" class and would like to complete my web design, also I learned a lot about Photoshop and Image Ready. I am also interested in the HTML certificate.

I've been using PC's for about five years. I use windows ME and windows XP. I started out interested in electronics but have shifted towards learning software programs.

I would like to say "intermediate". There are some tools of photoshop that I am good at and there's other that I struggle with. The four popular programs I use are Flash, Visual Basic, C++ and Photoshop.

I am a mother of two...a son who just turned 12, and a daughter who will be turning 16! If that isn't enough! I recently got remarried, and am enjoying myself taking several computer classes through SRJC, including Web Design. I live in the country just outside of Sebastopol. I hope to be storming back into the work world within the year.

THis is my second semester taking the courses for the web certificate. It is my hope to finish the courses and work in web designing or developing for a small company. I have been working with computers since 1986 when the first IBM and WANG computers came out. I even used a Commodore 64 for my word processing in the mid-80's. That is ancient now. Although cross platform trained, I only (prefer) work on the PC.

I am fully retired take as many computer courses as I can for fun and personal interest. Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army in 1994 after 22 years on active duty. I‚m married, for 12 years and live in Clearlake area for the past five years after moving up there from Pinole, CA.
I moved after a bad injury that all most took my live. I‚m lucky to be going to school because of the Spinal Cord Stimulation that helps me deal with ( RDS ) Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy I live with. Which is a chronic pain condition that develops as a result of central nervous system abnormality I experience Chronic electrical pains in the lower extremity (Leg and foot ). It change my life forever. I decided to learn something new. So I come to SRJC to learn how to build Web sites, plus more with the computer. So I took on the Web Site Development Career Certificate program. It helps.
