Wax's Comments

I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic Beat oldtimer's game, it was one for the ages. The turnout was fantastic, except for a few notable absences, and I won't miss the next one come hell or high water.

I am so proud to be a part of the Beat family! Who knew my loneliness in 1988 that would drive me to find strangers to hang out with on Lang field would lead to life-long friendship! And seeing Anita hang out with the Beat next generation almost brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks to Jim Harvey (and his family for their wonderful hospitality), Peter Wenner, Kevin Austin, OB and everyone else for their help in keeping the Beat alive and thriving!
