Looking to earn more on your short-term investments, but need the flexibility of a savings account? Consider a Healthcare FCU Money Market Account. You can open an account with as little as $1,000. There are no monthly fees even if account balances fall below $1,000, however dividends accumulate only on minimum balances of $1,000 or more. Dividends are paid and compounded monthly based on the account's average daily balance and the rate increases when an average monthly balance reaches $2,500 and jumps again at $25,000.

Getting Started Healthcare FCU members may mail an initial opening deposit of $1,000 or more to the credit union. Be sure to include a note that the money is for a new money market account.
