Seals and sea lions don't
threaten salmon; people do.
Even the government admits seals and sea lions didn't cause the collapse of
the salmon in the West. In fact, it was the four Ds: damming, development,
diversion, and deforestation.
And there is no scientific basis to believe that seals and sea lions
will impair any recovery of salmon. Instead it is people that have to
restore our rivers and streams to let salmon recover. Write your congresspeople
to support seals and salmon.
