Freed, CPA I am a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in providing accounting, tax, and business consulting services to individuals and to owners and managers of businesses. I enjoy working with people and taking care of their tax and accounting needs. I strive to help people achieve their business and financial goals when I am preparing income tax returns, putting together loan application packages, computing different tax scenarios to minimize taxes, preparing financial statements to report complex transactions, or whatever I am doing for my client. I have worked for CPA firms and private companies helping businesses to organize their accounting functions, plan for income taxes, and obtain financing. I have audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements for businesses in many different industries. I have prepared tax returns and represented businesses and individuals before the Internal Revenue Service, the California Franchise Tax Board, and other tax and regulatory agencies. I have worked with owners, controllers, accountants and bookkeepers to do year-end accounting and to improve the financial reporting systems. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and I am subject to its rules of ethics and accounting standards. As a licensed certified public accountant, I am subject to the regulations of the California Board of Accountancy, which is part of the State of California's Department of Consumer Affairs.
