"Networking with other attendees at our monthly seminars provides members with valuable assistance in the idea to market process. Our attendees have many talents. We have patent draftspeople, graphic and industrial designers, engineers, tooling experts, machinists, prototypers, marketing and sales people,and many others! Whatever stage we are in the development process, there are folks who can assist us in getting our products to market."

"Monthly brainstorming sessions give members an opportunity to present their ideas or products at the seminars and ask for feedback from the group. (All brainstorming ideas and products are protected by written non-disclosure agreements on file by everyone attending.) This process can save the inventor thousands of dollars by solving a problem, pointing out an important consideration, giving a valuable contact, or even naming a new product. We have witnessed the development of a number of inventions which grew from an idea to a successfully marketed product, partially through contributions from ITM members. The friendly, supportive atmosphere allows the group to interact with one another and build on each other's comments. Sometimes a "magical moment" occurs when an inventor is given the missing piece to the idea to market puzzle!"
