From the Desk of Mr. Kirk…
It seems like only yesterday that we started this year, but after 37 weeks with this wonderful group it is time for them to move on. There are a few activities this week that you need to be aware of. First, on Friday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. I will be giving the children their class yearbooks. These books are treasures that they will keep their whole life. Please bring friends and relatives to this presentation as I would like to say a few words about each child. Please arrive and go directly to room 1….Don’t forget that Friday is an early day so we will be on the Wednesday dismissal schedule... On Wednesday we will be having Field Day for the kindergartners. This fun filled activity is a school tradition organized by our buddies. Please make sure your child dresses in comfortable and appropriate attire for the day….Our trip to the Oakland Zoo last Friday was a big success. Thanks to all the parents who went along and looked after the children.... Lastly, I am leaving the bottom of this newsletter blank for you to respond to your child’s past year. Please give me feed back on what worked and what didn’t so I can make next year even better. Thank you all for your support throughout the year. It has been an honor and pleasure to have been entrusted with the education of your child for the past school year.
