This sconce started as a exploration in response to a 'self-portrait' challenge.

The tree with the proverbial 'roots', the bird with the 'wings'. The tire swing, the tightrope, the ball... all have deeper meanings if you care to look for them, but the surface can stand alone as a playful image of old fashioned family and fun.
